WMS was recently awarded a federally-funded “Summer Bridge Program for Rural Districts” opportunity grant in the amount of almost $15,000 to provide educational opportunities during the summer months.
We are super excited about this week’s “ALPHA Summer Bridge Program,” which is accelerating and enriching our up-coming 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th graders at WMS, Shiver, and Whigham. The past two days have been jam-packed with SAT verbal and math practice, LEGO robotics and coding, snap circuitry, and web design! We will continue Wednesday and Thursday with our career exploration stations and VR simulations!
