The Cairo High School Stage Makers will present their One Act Competition production, Once Upon a Mattress, Youth Edition, for one day only on Sunday, November 9th at 2:30 p.m. in the CHS Auditorium.
This hilarious musical retelling of The Princess and the Pea follows the tale of Princess Winnifred the Woebegone, a spirited and unconventional young woman who must prove her royal worth to win the heart of Prince Dauntless. With witty songs, colorful characters, and plenty of laughs, Once Upon a Mattress is a fun and heartwarming show for all ages.

The Stage Makers are also currently raising funds through the trusted online platform Vertical Raise until November 3rd to help purchase needed costumes, sets, and materials for the rest of our season, which includes Little Women - our Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards competition show for which we are the only school south of Macon selected to compete - and Hadestown, our season finale production.
