Dear Grady County resident,
The Grady County School System has worked diligently at creating a five-year strategic plan. The process began earlier this school year with five community input sessions and an educational summit to gather community feedback on a vision for Grady County Schools.
After an analysis of the input and the data, the committees reached consensus on goals, developed measurable objectives, and determined actions for each with timelines, funding, persons responsible, and means of evaluation. The plan on which the Development Team came to consensus includes five target areas, twelve goals, fourteen objectives, and thirty-eight action steps. The action steps are scheduled over a five-year period with most being initiated within the first two years. The measurable objectives and actions are reviewed annually using the suggested means of evaluation. The review of progress may result in revisions or additions to the action steps.
Please feel free to review the current draft and submit your input or feedback prior to April 9, 2023. We anticipate recommending a final Draft to the Grady County Board of Education for approval April 11, 2023.
